Cold Play

We spoiled ourselves and bought 2 tickets last minute to see Cold Play.  Brad and I apparently missed the memo that they were coming to town, but managed to score really great seats anyway a week prior!

My mom also graciously offered to watch the kids for us.  Thank you mom!  I know I am going to have to find another babysitter soon for our "date nights" but I so appreciate you helping out when need be!

So back to the concert, so so so good!  I think it is one of the best shows I have seen!  Cold Play is so entertaining.  They definitely want you to get your monies worth!

There was confetti, giant balloons, light up bracelets we were all given when we walked in that blinked to the beat of certain songs.  It was so great!





We will most definitely see them again when they come to town!

Love watching the kiddos. Just hard when a late date night is on a weekday and I have to get up at 5:30am for work. Cold Play was a Tuesday night! Glad you two could get out by yourselves.

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
