Brylee is 2 Months Old

WOW! Time flies... our little girl is now 2 months old now. We just went in for her check up and the doctor says she is doing great (which we already knew :) ). Brylee is now 11 pounds, 1 ounce and 21 3/4 inches long. She is in the 50% percentile for height and 75% percentile for weight. Brylee gained 4 pounds in a month and a half!! Here is a little video of her at two months old. As you can see, she now recognizes me. Brylee does know her brothers and dadda too. She smiles at me and has begun talking (cooing). It is adorable and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. Hope you enjoy the growth update.

Brylee and her new Blanket

This week Brylee received another package in the mail.  This one came from her Great Aunt Trish in Kentucky.  Trish has made all of our kids a blanket after they were born.  The ones for the boys have been great and been loved on a lot.  Here is Brylee and her blanket.  It is sooooooo pretty I just had to blog about it! I think Brylee will get lots of use out of it and love on it as she grows up. We have received so many gifts from our friends and family and we are so appreciative of all of them! We would like to say "thank you" to everyone and we love you all.  Thank you again Trish for the lovely blanket!

A few laughs from the Brockster...

A few weeks ago we were driving to see Brylee in the NICU. So yes, this was about a month ago! But back to the story. We were all in the car getting on the freeway, and a truck turned in front of us. The boys are obsessed with trucks, tractors, trains and yell out in the car everytime they see one! So here is what Brock saw: And then here is what Brock said: "Momma, look! Dadda's soda!" It was so funny! He and Brayden always grab Brad's sodas out of the fridge for him at dinner time and so he really knows what he was looking at. And just the other day, we were taking Brayden to Preschool and Brock saw this truck: And he said, "Momma, chips!" We are teaching them healthy eating habits here aren't we?! Oh, well!!
