So we are onto a new adventure...house hunting! We have reached the point of being ready to buy a home again and call it our own.  It is a process.  I have looked at 30 homes at least now, finding what we like, what we don't, floor plans that we think will work well, yards of the right shape and size, neighborhoods.....on and on. We have been looking for a few months now, but I have yet to share on here. Things are starting to slow with the holiday season coming up.  Here are a few pictures of our looking times: And here's to hoping we come across "the one" soon. Or at least hope that I still have the patience to look for "the one!"

One of my dear friends was getting married. We had been talking wedding items and I told her I could make her cake (after seeing a few pictures of what she was wanting).  I was a little nervous but excited at the same time to start this creation. I also volunteered to help put together a bridal/baby shower for her with her mom and sister's help. First, the shower...   And the start of the cake...  picking flowers...  finished product!  and her wedding day fun!   Everything turned out beautiful! I was super happy with the cake.  We made it to the reception safely (the drive was the WORST part).  It was such a fun day and I was happy to be a part of it! Congratulations to the happy couple!

We made it through a crazy winter with snow, rain and coldness and the signs of Spring are amongst us now! We all love this time because it means longer nights, more playing outside, baseball season is coming and I love to see the flowers blooming. We did a little work this weekend and took advantage of the nice weather. We can't wait for more Spring-like activities!
