Here are a few more pictures from our soccer season.       Grant and Brayden...dominating the dribble-a-thon!  Brock going in for a pass.  Brayden and Grammy after a late weeknight game. The boys are doing really well this year.  Brock could potentially be in Club level soccer next year.  It is something we are discussing and might do for him when the Fall season rolls around again.  Brayden is doing really well learning all the different positions and how they play important rolls in the game.

Brayden requested to have his first sleepover for his birthday.  He has had cousins stay but not friends.  I don't even remember what age I was when I started sleepovers, anyway, I agreed.  He invited his two best friends Evan and Grant. Before his friends arrived for pizza, games, movie and sleep over. His Grammy (whom he shares a birthday with) came over to spend a little time and give him his presents. The birthday kids :)         Happy boy with his very own guitar!  And presents from Mom and Dad...  And sister too!  Nothing like a little game of basketball. :)  Cardinal cookie cake as requested!   Brayden too is a lucky guy this year. He made out with $100 bill from mom and dad, presents from friends and a pretty cool guitar! Happy 9th Birthday Brayden!!!

  We threw together a last minute pool birthday party for Mr. Brock.  He couldn't decide what to do or where to go and kept requesting $100 bill. A deal was made that if we did not have to pay for a big birthday party, that $100 could be given as a present.   Our day started with food and pool time.  We then moved onto presents and ice cream cake.      The birthday boy asked to hold my friend Vanessa's baby girl, Lilly.  Then from mom and dad...  That face just says it all!  With his birthday falling on Sunday this year, we were able to celebrate on Monday with his class.  His request was ice cream cups. :) He was a very lucky boy this year! His friends spoiled him with lots of gifts and he also got that $100 bill he has been waiting for! Now to go shopping!!! Happy 7th Birthday Brock!

We have kicked off our soccer season! Both boys are playing and on separate teams because of age.  Brock is in U7 which is still co-ed.  He has his coach from last season and several of the players from his team last year too.    He had to do his dribble-a-thon fundraiser in the 97 degree weather! Poor guy was such a trooper though and made it through 15 laps!!!  Brayden is on a boys U9 team.  He has just a couple kids from his team last year.  He does have the same coach, though, which is nice. His level has now reached a little more competitive take.  The first game was obvious we have bumped it up a notch.    We are excited to see how their seasons play out and what they learn from it.  Should be good!

It is here folks. Yep. Summer is done. School is back.  I have a love hate relationship with this time of year. I am so excited to get the kids back on schedules and to have fun school events going on, but I do not like setting the alarm clock so early.  Gone are the days of sleeping in till 8am.  We are back to getting up at 6:15am and hitting the ground running!    Brayden is starting 3rd grade this year with his teacher Mrs. McGean.  He has a lot of his same friends in his class so he is pretty excited about that.    Brock is starting 1st grade at the same school as Brayden (so new for Brock) with his teacher Mrs. Shanks.  He knows 2 kids in his class from soccer already, so that is pretty neat.  Brylee is on her last year of preschool. Sigh, they are all growing up! She has her same teacher as last year Mrs. Oehler.  So off we go, another school year.  Let's hope for fun times, great friends and lo...
