Happy Easter!!!!

We had a lovely Easter day together as a family. We started our morning with Easter mass, followed by brunch. When we got back home we snapped a quick family photo.

 This has been a tradition for us for many years. The kids were soooo ready to outside and play but we managed to snap this one:

 And 8 shots later this is as good as it gets. :)

As Brylee was napping and the boys were inside occupied with games the Easter bunny went to work ;). They had gotten their baskets first thing when they woke up but had been waiting patiently for the bunny to make his appearance and drop off some eggs. Well that he did. All 90 eggs were left outside in the yard!

Oh so fun to watch them go crazy running to and fro hunting down eggs. They all did so well and the boys were kind enough to let Brylee have a 30 second head start.

We ended the day at my parents' house for dinner and another egg hunt. Here are the kids being silly with their Easter buckets on their heads as we drive:



It was such a wonderful day together as a family and we were blessed to have the time together and be thankful for so many things! We hope you all had a great Easter as well.

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
