Our baby is 2!!!

Brylee is TWO years old!! Oh man! She really is all things toddler now too.  Brylee is spunky, runs almost everywhere if she can.  She is still growing like a weed.  She has an appointment tomorrow so we will see what percentile she is in then.  But honestly, she is not much smaller than her cousin Isabella who turned 3 in July.  She is a monkey and a half!  The girl climbs everything.  I find her on the kitchen counters.  She has learned to climb out of her crib, up the side of the boys bunks, the bathroom counter, really anything. 

Brylee still has a mind of her own.  She does not want to be out-done by her brothers.  And really, other than taking one nap a day, she keeps up with them full force.  She is my little shadow and helper when Brad is at work and the boys are in school.  Brylee is talking a lot more recently as well.  She is imitating things that we say.  She has some full sentence phrases. 

Another big thing for her right now is that she has graduated out of her high chair! She is now sitting at the table with the rest of us.  She usually likes to pick out her plate and silverware but she is truly a big little girl now.

We had a little family get together for her and my sister on Brylee's birthday.  We got together at my parents' house.  My uncle Pat (dad's brother) and 2 of his kids, my cousins Cheyenne and Cassidy were able to come as well. My mom and I got to surprise Brittany by having them there.  We had to do a joint celebration before my parents headed out of town, but tried to make it not all about Brylee.

The kids had a great time.  Brylee enjoyed herself by playing with her brothers and cousins, skipping around and opening her gifts.  I think she had more fun ripping everything open, than actually seeing what it was!
And with no more babies entering this family, it really is strange to think we are exiting the "baby years."  Can't wait to see what this chapter brings in challenges and triumphs.  First up is potty training for Brylee and getting rid of her Binky! Wish me luck!!!
