Brock is 4!!!

Wow! Brock is 4 now.  And he is truly becoming a little man.  He started pre-school on his birthday this year.  He was nervous and excited...who wouldn't be. 

On his birthday, Brock decided he wanted to go bowling and have an ice cream cake.  I got a few presents and items while he was in his first day of school.  He got to then help me pick out his cake and 10 balloons for his big day.

As soon as Brad got home from work he opened his presents.  He was waiting patiently and asking every 5 minutes when dadda would be home.

After dinner we headed off to bowling.  We got to the ally and bum deal, they were having a league night :(.  They only had one lane for non-leaguers.  There was a couple already playing.  We waited about 15-20 minutes to see if they were going to finish, but realized it was not going to happen.  We had to leave.  We checked one other ally close by, but also a league night- what are the odds!?! 

Brock did not seem to bummed out.  After discussing what else we could do, he decided he wanted to go play at the park with the Pirate Ship.  We headed off and got some good play time in.  We returned home with a little time left for cake and singing! Yum the best part!!!


It was a great day!!! Happy Birthday Mr. Brock the Rock! We love you!!!

Wow, Brock, it sure looks like you had a great Birthday and so many presents. It sure was nice we got to celebrate your birthday at Disney this year.

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
