Denver, Colorado visit Day 1 "the beginning"
We just got back from our first family of 5 trip! We planned a few months ago to make a visit to Denver, Colorado to visit Brad's brother Eric and his wife Jenn. They last visited us here in Oregon in April of 2009. And we last visited them in June of 2006! Brayden was only 9 months old when we traveled there for their wedding. Man how time flies!!!!
The Colorado Neeley's had not seen Brylee yet and we thought we better make a trip. The anticipation built around our house as we got ready to leave. They boys all got new haircuts, I worked the whole weekend prior and then spent the 2 days before we left cleaning, organizing, laundry, packing kids and dogs, you know all the usual things :).
Everyone was great on the plane, no crying or fits. Thank goodness it is a fairly quick flight! We did get stalled on the tarmac and had to wait about 40 minutes for a gate to open up after we arrived so we could get off the plane...that is when the boys started to get a little restless, but so did I! We all wanted to see Uncle Eric and Aunt Jenn!!!!
The first night was just spent getting settled. Everyone got into their rooms (at Eric and Jenn's gorgeous new home) and put the suitcases away. We got the Grand Tour and had some dinner.
The next day, our first official day there was packed with visiting the playground that is in Eric and Jenn's community (two houses down), the Denver Children's Museum and the Denver Aquarium.

With our first visit to the playground complete we headed off to the Museum. And to not make this too lengthy for you all I am going to break this up into different posts because we have so many great pictures to share and stories to tell. Enjoy!
