Denver, Colorado day 1 continued still...

The Aquarium was HUGE!!!! They were having a visiting Sponge Bob virtual ride outside so I caught a couple pictures of the boys with Sponge Bob before we went inside.

There were so many fish to see and the aquarium was divided into different regions of earth.  You would walk through a section that would show all the fish that lived in that region. Brock kept wanting to be lifted up so that he could stick his hands in the top of the big tanks and touch the fish.  After we got to the piranhas I thought that maybe was not a good idea anymore!

In the rain forest area they just let out this tiger. 
At the end, you could feed and touch the Stingrays.  Brayden was very interested!

The Aquarium was a hit! We all had a great time.  After walking and visiting the museum and aquarium we headed back to the house to EAT!!!

Day 2 is coming!!!!!!

So glad you guys had a great time at the aquarium. Tell the boys that Grandma Carol and Grandpa Brian swam with the stinrays, and Grandma Carol held one by herself.

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
