March of Dimes...

'Tis that time again... we will be participating in the March of Dimes walk on April 24th! This will be our 4th year walking and now we have 2 little reasons to walk.

Yes, you all know our little Mr.Brayden came so early and thanks to all the work that the March of Dimes has done over the years, he is a healthy, happy little boy. We are so thankful everyday that the March of Dimes puts so much effort into research and development so that there will be fewer and fewer preemies born every year.

When little miss Brylee came this January, it was all too familiar to be back in the NICU. A wave of emotions came rushing back to Brad and myself. You suddenly get images and memories of the hardships and triumphs that we had to endure during the 3 months Brayden stayed there. Though Brylee was not near as critical as Brayden was and we knew her stay would be shorter, it was not any less difficult.

Our lives have forever been changed by 2 out of our 3 children being in the NICU for the beginning of their lives and we hope that many other parents will not have to go through that same situation.
