HAPPY EASTER!!!

Happy Easter to everyone! It was a good day here at the Neeley house. The boys have been busy Easter egg hunters. On Saturday, we headed down to the park near our house for an Easter Egg hunt. This was the first time the boys have done one outside of our house and my parents house. They were super excited!


On Sunday we started our day by going to Easter Mass at St. John (which is where Brayden goes to school). The boys were a bit restless to say the least during the service, but we made it through. Once we were back home, the Easter Bunny had been busy while we were at church and the boys hunted through the house for all their eggs and baskets. Brayden is the fasted egg hunter we have ever seen! He had his bucket filled in no time and then started helping Brock fill his bucket. Brad then cooked an awesome brunch! Eggs, sausage, bisquits, and hashbrowns stuffed us completely full! After the boys naps, we headed to my parents' house for dinner and another egg hunt. Let's just say the boys made a haul. Brylee received a couple goodies as well- teethers and stuffed animals.

We did take a few Family photos while we had the chance! So without further adeu:

Brylee looks like a little princess, of course the guys look adorable too. What a handsome family. I guess Brayden is like his dad, Brad was the fastest egg finder. No one else ever had a chance.

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
