Visitors

We have had several visitors in the last couple weeks.  Since Brylee's arrival, we had Grandma Carol and Grandpa Brian come from North Carolina and my cousin Stephanie visiting from California.

Brylee says: "All these people are here to see me!"

Carol flew in first to help out with the boys and the house once I got home from the hospital.  It was great to have an extra set of hands around the house; it made things so much easier.  And she cooked some pretty darn good meals!

Brian then flew in for the weekend to meet the newest Neeley girl.  He says she is the first one in over 90 years! Pretty crazy!

My cousin Stephanie had planned a trip up from California a while ago and I told her I would have the baby by then so we made a date to see each other.


And, finally we got a family picture with Brad's parents.  We always forget everytime we are together!


We want to thank everyone for visiting us! It was great to have family around with our new arrival of Brylee coming home.  We are so glad you all could share in this experience with us!  We welcome anyone else that wants to come for a visit as well, the boys love having company to play with :)

Ahhh, so cute! I love her cute little face so much! And seriously, check out those long fingers!! Definitely has Brionna's hands;) I can't wait to meet her in-person. Hopefully soon!

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
