Brylee the dancer

I have done it! I signed Brylee up for dance classes.  She is so excited and I am anxious to see how she likes it.

This class is a 30 minute class once a week.  We don't get to sit in and watch while she is in there.  We can come in the last 5 minutes and watch their ribbon dance. 

Here is a look at her in action!








 
 
Brylee did have a great time and I will be looking for other dance classes soon to sign her up for.

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
