The boys' Birthdays
And here we are again, celebrating each one of the boys turning another year older. It is so hard to believe how fast time goes by these days. I know they will be driving and going to college before I know it, but I just want to focus on now for a minute.
This year, Brayden turned 8. He is very into sports! Brayden is a sports broadcaster in the making. He check the ESPN app on the iPad daily. He watches NFL Red Zone every weekend. Really, he will recite scores and stats to you after games (whether you want to hear them or not ;)). Brayden loves school! He enjoys his second grade class and has many friends at school. He is always willing to help the teacher out or do extra projects. We are super proud of him! Brayden is a great kid! He is loving to his brother and sister (for the most part- they are siblings after all). He helps me out with things around the house when he can too. He is still stubborn beyond belief, but has a funny personality and reminds me of Brad in so many ways.
Brock turned 6 this year. Man, he is growing up! Since he has started Kindergarten, he has become such a little man. Brock is feeling pretty comfortable in his class. They only have 17 students and he is one of three boys in the class (lucky him)! He is silly and loving. He is sensitive. Brock likes to be friends with people. He is a good friend too. Brock is our gamer. He would play video games all day long if he could! He is still very into army things, battleships, tanks, fighter jets, etc. Brock comes up with plans a lot. He has a plan currently, to put together a yard sale and sell some of his old toys so that he can by some new ones (reminds me of his Uncle Eric :)). I told him we have to wait till summer now, but he definitely has it figured out! We are so proud of him and his ability to make us laugh at just the right time!
The boys chose this year to have a joint party. They both wanted to have it at a local Laser tag facility. I set everything up, invited their friends and got to work on their cakes.
It was so fun!!! The place served pizza and drinks, took care of decorations and organizing the games of laser tag. Here are a few quick shots of what it looked like.
And, last but not least, the cakes as requested!

Phew, glad to have had so much fun and to be done! Here is to a great year for each of my boys!
