A Fabulous Christmas...

Christmas was a wonderful time this year. Both the boys were excited to open presents and now have a better idea of what Christmas is about. We opened our presents at our house in the morning (which I did not get pictures of because we recorded it on video- which is too old of a camera that I cannot upload it on here :(). Later in the evening we headed to my parents house to open presents as a family with them and my sister and her family. It is a yearly tradition.

Yay! Love ALL the pics, you and your mom look fabulous. Such a beautiful family you have - Brock is getting SO big. I hope you're doing well. We need to have another catch-up soon. I'll try and call soon:) I head to CA on Monday, so if I get some downtime, I'll call from there;)Loves ya!

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
