Trick-or-Treat

Here we are getting ready to go to Auntie Brittany & Uncle Tony's house to trick-or-treat with Dominic. Aren't they they cutest Pluto's ever!


Here is the cute little pumpkin... Isabella (the boys cousin and my sister Brittany's daughter).


A couple of pre-trick-or-treating photos that we made them take. Don't they look happy? Just kidding. They really were excited to go even they did not show it in the pictures.

We had a great time wondering around the neighborhood. They boys were really good. Brayden kept saying, "time to go to the next one" after he got his treat from the current house. He would then start running for the next doorbell to ring. It was really cute. His Pluto head would bounce as he ran along. Brayden and Dominic walked the whole time. I carried Brock (my arms were burning by the end). And about half way through, Brock reached into his bag and grabbed a chocolate bar. He started chewing on it (with the wrapper on it) and I thought nothing of it until... Yes he managed to chew it open and here is the end result! Oh well, that is what Halloween is for right?

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
