Brayden Celebrates being 3!!!































Brayden is now 3 years old. We cannot believe it our selves... he is officially a little man. We celebrated his birthday on Friday the 12th by going to the beach and letting him build sand castles. We had a ball! He got such a kick out of it and had sand everywhere- even in his diaper! (Yes, I said diaper- he is not potty trained yet, but we hope soon) When we got home we had cake which he picked out the design of. It was a great day. The next day we continued the celebration and went to the Family Fun Center with his grandparents, and auntie and cousin Dominic. The miniature golf was the best! He is so spoiled- we know.

Yay, Brayden! What great pictures - looks like it was tons of fun! And don't worry about the potty-training, it will happen! A lot of boys are late potty-trainers, they take a lot longer than girls do:) AND why is beyond me as they can stand up for half of their duties:) Love you much!

Yes it was lots of fun! The Pediatrician said to just let him decide when he is ready... so as much as I dislike changing his diaper, we are going to wait a little bit.

So I found this desk I don't know just over a year ago.  It was before we moved.  My mother-in-law was visiting and we spotted this kids desk sitting out at a neighbor's house with a Free sign on it.  Brad was sceptical and wondered why I picked it up.  It needed a little work, but I thought it would be great as an art desk for the kids.  Before: When we moved it came along with us.  I had not touched it up to that point.  And after we moved it sat for a month or so as it was not one of the top priorities at the time.  Late November (I think) we finally went and picked out some paint for it.  The boys and I decided on a bright orange.  Yes, we are talking "Construction Warning" orange! Peacock Lane

We took a trip to a local Christmas Landmark- Peacock Lane.  It is in Portland.  Every house on the lane decorates with Christmas lights.  Several do amazing things! I had not been since I was younger.  I had wanted to take the kids in the past couple years, but we just did not make it. We had a clear, dry night and took advantage. :)
